Wat Sangharattanaram had received the bell as a donation (24x41) inches from Mr. Richard Keidle in tributes and honors of Mrs. Joy (Aung) Keidle. And also Mr. Keidle have donated the funds to start building the hall for the bell. Wat Sangharattanaram and others have also contributed in donations to build the hall since 2012.
Now we have finished building the hall for the bell. The committees of Wat Sangharattanaram and all the members feel like it’s time to celebrate the opening ceremony for the Belfry along with August Fun (Singha Parpern). It’s quite an honor for the Temple to have a hall for the bell set as a memorial for years to come.
We would like to invite everyone to come and join us on both days. On Saturday 9, 2014, we are having food sales and great night of entertainments in which we will have live band performing by (Sengthep) band and also guest singers from Amarillo, Texas.
